Emergency Food & Resource Distribution

Food

Friedens is the largest network of food pantries in Milwaukee providing over 1 million pounds of food at four locations in our pantries: Coggs, Despensa de la Paz, Hope House and Zion Rock. We operate six days per week and offer nutritious foods, including fresh, culturally relevant produce that is healthy and nourishing.

Infant Needs

Coggs, Hope House and Zion Rock distributes much needed infant food and related products in partnerships with Impact 2-1-1 and the Hunger Task Force.

Stock Box

Hope House and Zion Rock distribute over 180 stock boxes per month, each filled with 40 pounds of food, in partnership with the USDA and the Hunger Task Force. Stock boxes are for individuals 60+ and can be received in addition to your monthly free groceries.

Diapers

We offer diapers at all 4 of our locations thanks to partnerships with organizations such as United Way and the Milwaukee Diaper Mission.

Free Libraries

All four of our food pantries offer free libraries. There is a constant flow of books as people give and take for all ages, interests, and abilities.

Friedens Pantries exists because of the support of our neighbors

With multiple food distribution programs that distribute more than 1.3 million pounds of food to our neighbors each year and wrap-around support that helps clients achieve a sense of belonging and empowerment, Friedens Pantries aims to end hunger and create a safe space for all.
